Mike Heiser is currently the Academic Editor at Logos Bible Software in Bellingham, WA and the Academic Editor for Bible Study Magazine.
Mike earned the MA and PhD in Hebrew Bible and Semitic Languages at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before attending the UW-Madison, he earned an MA in Ancient History from the University of Pennsylvania (major fields: Ancient Israel and Egyptology). Dr. Heiser has nearly twenty years of teaching experience. He has taught two dozen different courses in the traditional classroom and online environment. His main research interests are Israelite religion (especially Israel’s divine council), contextualizing biblical theology with Israelite and ancient Near Eastern religion, biblical languages, ancient Semitic languages, textual criticism, and Second Temple period Jewish literature. His dissertation was entitled, "The Divine Council in Late Canonical and Non-Canonical Second Temple Jewish Literature.” The dissertation sought to discern the ancient Israelite background to Judaism's "Two Powers in Heaven" teaching. Dr. Heiser was named the Regional Scholar for the Pacific Northwest Region of the Society of Biblical Literature in 2007. He blogs on biblical studies at The Naked Bible.

Johnny Cisneros earned an MCS (Master of Christian Studies) in Biblical Languages from Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. Prior to attending Regent, he earned a BA in Music from California State University Stanislaus, studying classical guitar, composition, and conducting. His educational interests include biblical theology, the New Testament’s use of the Old Testament, biblical languages, pedagogy, text painting, electronic composition, and song parodies.
Johnny has a passion for equipping people. He combines that passion with an extensive knowledge of the biblical domain, developing resources to help people understand the Bible better. He is the co–creator (with Mike Heiser) of the revolutionary Learn to Use Greek and Hebrew with Logos Bible Software, author of The Mission of Jesus, and columnist for Bible Study Magazine.
Johnny is currently Product Manager for Biblical Theology, Study Helps, and Bible Study at Logos Bible Software. He resides in Bellingham, WA, with his wife, Carla, and their daughter, Lucia.

Judd Burton is an historian and anthropologist. He currently teaches ancient to medieval humanities with Amarillo College, and archaeology and cultural anthropology for West Texas A & M University.
Judd earned an M.A. in anthropology and a Ph.D. in history from Texas Tech University. His specialization is the history of religions, with a focus on early Christianity and Greco-Roman religions. His dissertation is a religious history of the site of Banias (Biblical Caesarea Philippi) entitled "Religion, Society, and Sacred Space at Banias/Caesarea Philippi: A Religious History of Banias, 21 BC-AD 1635."
Judd also has field experience in archaeology at a variety of
sites on both sides of the globe, as well as ethnographic and
archival experience.
